With thanks to the dedicated Antispiral via our forums, the Oceanic Daisy Chain group have announced what the unofficial SWTOR PvP server is:
On behalf of the Oceanic Daisy Chain, I’d like to inform you all that the unofficial Oceanic PvP server for SWTOR has been chosen to be The Swiftsure (US West).
As you may be aware, the Oceanic region has been excluded from the official launch of SWTOR. That has not stopped us from building a sizeable and well organised community. Purely from the guilds signed up for the Official Pre-launch Guild Program, Oceanic PvP numbers stand at:
Republic = 751
Sith = 1210
Total registered TOR GHQ Accounts = 1961Obviously, these numbers are only going increase.
So consider this a call to arms to all Oceanic players/guilds. We ask that even if your guild has been allocated to another server for deployment, that you reconsider and join us on The Swiftsure, for what will likely be one of the best communities in the game!
So if you’re wanting to roll your toons on a PvP server where you know a lot of other Oceanic players will be, then Swiftsure is the place to go.

Either ‘The Harbinger’ or ‘Jekk’Jekk Tar’ as it stands I hear there are more guilds on ‘The Harbinger’ but more people ( due to two large guilds around 200 people each) on ‘Jekk’Jekk Tar’.
But yeah it’s going to be discussed tonight at some meeting.
I’m fairly certain that The Jekk’Jekk Tarr is considered now to be the Unofficial Oceanic PvE server
I’m fairly certain it’s not. Things are split at the moment between Jekk’Jekk Tar and Harbringer. Final decisions will be made tonight.
The reason why i said i was fairly certain was because i’ve been on Darth Hater and saw a few ppl from the Oceanic region crying out that it’s the one with most PvE Oceanic guilds from the daisy chain or whatever. I do realise that it’s fair to say a lot of ppl and guilds will be split no matter what. I’ve just discovered ‘Space Slug’ as another server with Oceanic players on it now making The Jekk’Jekk Tarr – The Harbinger – Space Slug all potential Oceanic PvE servers. Hope it’s helped even though i don’t care that much coz my guilds be assigned to The Swiftsure 🙂
Actually, more guilds have been assigned to ‘The Harbringer’, however some of the bigger guilds have been assigned to ‘The Jekk’Jekk Tarr’. Space Slug seems not to have many at all. I think I know how this is going to pan out, however I’m not going to speculate at this stage.
Jekk Jekk = Republic
Harbringer = Sith
Or would that be to logical for all our altoholics? 😛

what about Warriors of the Shadow ? I’m sure my guild was in a oceanic chain and we’ve all been put on Warriors of the Shadow

The decision was made for this server because over 1000 over the players were placed on this server. The other 900 were split over 5-10 other servers. Therefore, the biggest numbers on one server was “The Swiftsure”
Unfortunately for a few of the guilds they will need to move over on launch. If you contact myself or a few others, getting the 5000 credits to form a guild on our server shouldn’t be hard to achieve quickly.
AFAIK There is a meeting tonight about the PvE server @ 9pm AEDT where it will be decided about 2 hours before the first servers go up as to which it will be between Harbringer and Jekk’Jekk Tar

I’m hearing The Harbinger as pve, works for me as that’s where my guild was assigned

No numbers were ‘fudged’, these are accurate numbers (including TOGs oceanic population) as given to the meeting by Slider of TOG, Neimad did not disagree.
